Kamala Harris reaching out to tribal voters with TV, radio ads

Vice President Kamala Harris is taking no vote for granted. The Democratic presidential nominee continues her campaign to round up the tribal vote by running radio and television ads this week in tribal media outlets.
A written statement released Tuesday by the Harris-Walz campaign said the ads are the next steps in an enhanced outreach to tribal communities to mobilize Native voters.
The new ads follow visits to the state from Harris and Walz last week, when they met with tribal leaders and tribal citizens to lay out their tribal agenda. Her website was thin on details, but the statement said if elected, Harris would be committed “to advancing policies that have a real, meaningful impact on Tribal communities, like lowering costs, investing in small businesses, and making affordable health care more accessible.”
The radio ads will air on tribal radio stations across Arizona reaching Native voters, including KTNN, KWRK, KCAZ and KAFF.
